Sebenarnya, beberapa minggu ini aku mengalami semacam k-drama slump . Rasanya malas sekali menonton drama Korea yang sedang tayang. Tidak ada yang bikin bergairah. Sampai akhirnya Ruler: Master of the Mask ini tayang. Tidak semenggairahkan itu sih, tapi paling tidak drama produksi MBC ini membuat jari tanganku membuka dramacool setiap Kamis dan Jumat pagi he he. Ruler: Master of the Mask bercerita tentang seorang Putera Mahkota (PM) bernama Lee Sun ( Yoo Seung-ho ). Dia tampan, pintar, polos, dan baik hati. Sayangnya, tidak semua orang tahu hal itu. Sebab, sejak kecil wajahnya ditutupi topeng. Hanya Raja ( Kim Myung-soo ), Selir Lee yang merupakan ibu Lee Sun ( Choi Ji-na ), dan kepala penjaga keamanan yang tahu wajah asli PM.
